The Opera Babes - Beautifully attired in Jerboa's Bold As Love

Jerboa was once again honoured to work with photographer Alice Luker who is certainly making waves in the fashion and advertising world in an editorial for Faceon magazine.
Here Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model winner Letitia Herod was styled by Rachel Holland in the Jerboa Tahrir collar - a classic combination of black and gold.
The theme for the shoot was a film noir aesthetic captured by the sultry mood of the expert lighting, camera angles and gorgeous makeup by Anna Priadka.

Talented Fashion & Still Life stylist Hannah Oakley recently called in some Jerboa for C-Heads magazine.
Shadows by Claire Huish has a light, magical quality to it. Prisms of light seem to pass through a pastel colourscape.
Atoll, Chilli and Peru were styled with Mary Katrantzou, Novu Chiu and Topshop.
Jerboa likes how our statement collars can be just seen underneath the shirt lapels - just sneaking out to clash against the colour-pop prints.

I recently had the pleasure of working with film directors Saul Abraham and Josh Feder on a short music video to promote the new Fabric compilation: Fabriclive 62.
As well as designing jewellery I also love fashion styling, hair, makeup and anything which goes towards creating a finished look. I knew the spec for the film would involve a ballerina dancing in an old church with light streaming in through the windows, very magical - almost dreamlike. Rather than use a tutu I wanted to create a ballet look that was a little more unusual: I sourced a vintage white corset and layered ruffled petticoats to create a really frothy skirt.
In my imagination I saw the dancer wearing a pair of delicate Jerboa statement earrings which would swoosh and sway as she moved across the floor. I constructed 'Diva' earrings in silver and white crystals with tiny freshwater pearls which hang to an enticing shoulder length. I'm sure you will agree with me that the very talented ballerina, Evy Ferraro looks absolutely stunning dancing in her earrings.
Enjoy the video below and please have a look at www.saulandjoshfilms.com and follow them on twitter to stay up to date with their upcoming films. I really look forward to collaborating with them on future projects.

The Jerboa Jewellery Blog - London Fashion Week / September 2011
Jerboa Jewellery is very proud to announce that we debuted our first collection during London Fashion Week at the Strand Palace Hotel, 16.09.11 with Fashion Mavericks.
Our stunning models sourced by Ande at Dilema agency smouldered their way down the catwalk, their wrists encased in our signature bulbous beaded cuffs, necks yielding to lavish Swavroski embellished collars and earlobes swishing with enticing earrings.
With the help of Kathryn Quatermaine (designer and stylist) we choose a selection of floor-length gowns, all thigh-high splits and swooshy skirts which we complimented with some beautiful lace bodies and jewel encrusted belts from Beyond Retro.
Running on a creative high I also presented some Jerboa womenswear ideas which I had been developing: two floor length sheer side-split skirts in black and white, a draped white sheer wrap top and a grey jersey strapless dress with a draped skirt - all available to order from Jerboa soon.
Our dramatic make-up looks were created by the amazing Ole Elias Reinholdtsen Høve and team at Beauty Base London and Hair was styled into gorgeous rolls by the talented Joanne Gilder and team at Innovation Hair.
The Jerboa woman, is powerful, sensuous and adorned - see Kerry modelling our brand new necklace 'Siam' in blood-red crystal, our Brazilian beauty Danubia rocking our statement 'Chilli' collar and Anne looking regal in our 'Nocturne' rope necklace.
It truly was a high-octane, high adrenaline and uber glamorous event - i can't wait to do it again.
Thanks to everyone who came to support the show, you are all fantastic.

Jerboa Blog - April 2011
On Friday the 25th of March I attended the Square Mile 30 under 30 talent awards at the Museum of London. I was extremely pleased and excited to be nominated for the entrepreneurship category and beat over 1000 other applicants as the only designer to make it as a finalist. I was both nervous and delighted waiting to collect my award in front of 100's of people. In addition to the award fantastic goody bags were provided courtesy of the sponsors Square Mile. It was a night that I will always cherish.
The evening kicked off with a champagne reception and red carpet photography session followed by a three course dinner and awards ceremony presented by Krishan Guru Murthy of Channel 4 News. Over 300 people attended this prestigious event and I was very fortunate to be sponsored by Deutsche Bank in recognition of my achievements as a designer and new business creator in the city of London.
Accompanying me was my friend and alternative soul singer Szjerdene Mulcare wearing 'Cyprus', good friend Natasha Sadotti of Deutsche Bank wearing 'Tahrir', my brother Jonty Barker of The Baker Gallery and Mark Clarke, creator of earworms mobile and director at Jerboa Jewellery.
I wore 'Nocturne' necklace and matching cuff and I have to say Jerboa Jewellery took our outfits up another level and was much admired.
