“I designed the collection to bridge the gap between jewellery and clothing, to transform the wearer into a high priestess of couture. This is about enjoying the process of decoration and adornment - this is not minimalist jewellery, this is an opulent, theatrical statement.”
We wanted to find a way to enclose the wrist in a spherical structure and worked hard in the Jerboa lab to find a way of sneakily enclosing elastic, so that it would cling to your wrist perfectly. The bead cages are easy to take off; simply fold the thumb into the palm and slide the cuff over the hand. Bring on the Bulbosity!
Jerboa Cuffs, like beaded planets, orbit the wrist creating an optical slimming effect. Wear one on each wrist in goddess bronze or gothic jet-black, clash neon lemon on one arm with bold coral on the other, wear plumped up and bulbous or twist for a skinny fit. Layer over bare wrists, long sleeves and leather gloves.
